As a Software Engr II here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of software applications and systems. Responsibilities

Responsibility for this position is to develop embedded software for Honeywell fire detection systems requiring expertise in various technologies like C++ programming, RTOS and Linux system programming.

Candidate from BE/MTech in CSE/ECE with 6+ years for experience.Good Experience in embedded firmware design and development, experience in microcontroller & microprocessor design and interfacing Experience in RTOS, Linux, communications (TCP/IP, RS485, CAN, I2C, SPI,UART).Proficient in C++ programming Well versed with Scaled Agile (SAFE).Good communications, presentation skills and ability to handle multiple activities/priorities effectivelyTo be able to estimate, plan - design and development related activities

Exposure to the following areas is an added advantage

Ability to understand hardware and schematicsExperience and understanding of cyber security assessments and measures to prevent security risks in the systemUnderstanding of Fire Regulatory Standards EN54, UL 864

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

BE/MTech in CSE/ECE with 3+ years for experience 3+ years of experience in software developmentProficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
