This role focuses on day‑to‑day technical leadership, people management, and delivery execution within a defined product or platform area. The Engineering Manager works closely with Product, Architecture, and Operations to ensure the team delivers high‑quality outcomes aligned to roadmap and business goals. What you will doTechnical Leadership Lead technical execution for a specific product, service, or platform area.Ensure designs and implementations follow established architecture, security, and reliability standards.Promote best practices in coding, code review, testing, CI/CD, observability, and performance tuning.Partner with senior engineers and architects to plan and implement refactoring, modernization, and tech‑debt reduction.

People & Team ManagementManage, coach, and develop a team of software engineers and senior engineers.Set clear goals and performance expectations; provide regular feedback and run effective1:1s.Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning.Support hiring, onboarding, and skill development to build a strong, diverse team.

Delivery & ExecutionCollaborate with Product Management to refine scope, priorities, and release timelines for the team.Own sprint planning, execution, and delivery for the team’s backlog.Ensure high quality through testing, code reviews, and adherence to SDLC and compliance standards.Identify risks and blockers early and drive resolution through coordination with partner teams.

Operational ExcellenceMonitor and improve the health of the services owned by the team (reliability, latency, errors, cost).Participate in incident management, on‑call rotations, and RCAs; ensure follow‑through on action items.Drive incremental improvements in stability, automation, and operational efficiency for the team's services.
