Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Engineering & TestingDesign, develop, and maintain automated tests for UI, APIs, and end-to-end user journeys.Execute manual and automated testing to validate functionality, reliability, and performance.Contribute to defining effective test coverage for microservices and mini-app applications.Identify defects early and ensure high-quality deliverables throughout the development lifecycle.Support shift-left testing practices by participating early in requirement and design discussions.Software Engineering & Technical ContributionDevelop a solid understanding of frontend and backend systems, APIs, workflows, and microservices architecture.Contribute to debugging, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting production issues when needed.Write and maintain test utilities, frameworks, and supporting code using languages such as Java or JavaScript.Collaborate with developers to improve testability, observability, and overall system quality.Participate in code reviews and technical discussions from a quality and engineering perspective.Collaboration & TeamworkWork closely with developers, senior engineers, QA engineers, and product owners to deliver user-focused solutions.Participate actively in sprint ceremonies, planning sessions, and team discussions.Support teammates and contribute positively to a collaborative and learning-focused team culture.Communicate testing progress, risks, and quality concerns clearly and proactively.Quality & Best PracticesFollow best practices in testing, automation, CI/CD, and software engineering.Ensure good coverage of key user journeys, edge cases, and integration scenarios.Help improve maintainability and reliability through continuous improvement initiatives.Contribute to improving testing frameworks, tooling, and engineering practices within the team.Learning & GrowthContinuously expand technical, testing, product, and domain knowledge while embracing new tools, practices, and learning opportunities.Stay updated with trends in QA, automation, cloud-native systems, and modern development practices.Explore how AI-assisted tools can improve productivity and testing effectiveness.Learn from senior engineers and progressively take ownership of larger testing areas and initiatives.QualificationsRequired3-8 years of experience in software testing or quality engineering.Good understanding of software engineering principles and the software development lifecycle.Familiarity with Java or JavaScript programming.Understanding of distributed architectures and various synchronous and asynchronous communication patterns and technologies.Experience with API and UI testing tools/frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, or similar.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and agile development practices.Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.A proactive mindset with attention to detail and ownership of quality.PreferredExperience working with distributed architectures and modern test automation practices.Strong understanding of databases, SQL, and data validation techniques.Ability to write and analyze complex SQL queries for testing, troubleshooting, and validating data integrity across systems.Exposure to containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.Familiarity with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Strong understanding of performance and security testing.Basic understanding of AI concepts and an interest in leveraging AI-assisted tools and approaches to improve quality and engineering efficiency.What We’re Looking ForA strong team player who collaborates effectively with engineers and stakeholders.Someone who takes ownership of quality and proactively identifies risks and improvements.A curious engineer who wants to understand systems beyond just testing tasks.A positive and dependable individual who contributes to a healthy engineering culture.Someone eager to continuously grow technically and professionally while taking on greater ownership and responsibility.Why Join Us?Career GrowthYou’ll have a clear path toward becoming a Senior QA Engineer, supported by mentoring, hands-on learning, and growth opportunities.ImpactWork on meaningful products and contribute to the quality of systems used at scale.InnovationBe part of a modern engineering culture that values automation, AI-assisted tooling, and continuous improvement.Learning CultureAccess to collaborative forums, knowledge-sharing opportunities, and modern technologies across engineering and quality domains.
