We move fast, take ownership, build with purpose, and continuously raise the bar on engineering excellence.About the RoleWe are looking for a Software Engineer (QA) to join our engineering team and help us build reliable, scalable, and high-quality products.In this role, you will work across backend services, APIs, frontend applications, microservices, and data systems. You will be responsible for designing and implementing robust test automation strategies, identifying quality risks early, and ensuring that our systems perform reliably at scale.You will work closely with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and DevOps teams to build quality into the development lifecycle rather than treating testing as a final step.

What You'll DoDesign, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for backend APIs, microservices, and frontend applications.Build automated functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and smoke test suites.Develop and execute API automation for REST and/or GraphQL services.Build UI automation using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent frameworks.Design and execute load, stress, scalability, and performance tests to identify bottlenecks and system limitations.Validate data across APIs, databases, backend services, queues, and frontend applications.Perform data quality testing covering accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity.Investigate test failures, identify root causes, and work with engineering teams to resolve defects.Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and enable continuous quality validation.Create and maintain test strategies, test plans, test cases, automation scripts, and quality documentation.Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews to identify potential quality risks early.Monitor application quality across development, QA, staging, and production environments.Define and track relevant quality metrics and communicate risks and issues to stakeholders.Continuously improve test automation frameworks, tools, processes, and engineering practices.

What We're Looking For4+ years of experience in SDET, QA Automation, Software Testing, or a similar engineering role.Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or C#.Strong hands-on experience with backend/API and frontend/UI automation.Experience with automation frameworks/tools such as:SeleniumCypressPlaywrightREST AssuredPostmanor equivalent frameworksHands-on experience with load and performance testing using tools such as JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, k6, or similar.Strong understanding of SQL and database testing.Experience validating data across APIs, databases, queues, and frontend systems.Good understanding of software development and testing methodologies, preferably Agile/Scrum.Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.Strong analytical, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and take ownership of quality across the product lifecycle.

Good to HaveExperience testing microservices and distributed systems.Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, or Datadog.Understanding of security testing and performance engineering concepts.Experience with message queues, event-driven architectures, or data pipelines.Experience building or contributing to QA automation frameworks from the ground up.
