Software Engineer II

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance C++ applications for Edge Control Platform solutionsParticipate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectivesCollaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA teams, and other stakeholders to understand business and technical requirementsTranslate functional requirements into technical designs and high-quality codePerform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practicesTroubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues

Required Skills

Strong proficiency in C++ (version 14 and above) and object-oriented programmingSolid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and memory managementProven experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environmentFamiliarity with Windows and/or Linux development environmentsExperience with version control systems such as GitStrong communication and collaboration skillsExcellent problem-solving and analytical abilitiesFamiliarity with software design patterns and architectural principles

Good To Have (Preferred Skills)

Good to have knowledge in Electrical and Building Automation domain.Knowledge of industrial protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, or similar protocols used in automation, automotive, or telecommunication domains.Working knowledge of C#.NET, WPFExperience with multi-threaded and high-performance applicationsExposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication, or a related field.5+ to 10 years of relevant experience in developing software products and/or edge control solutions for the Electrical, Industrial, Automotive, or Telecommunications industries.
