This role will be based in Bangalore, India.

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

Responsibilities

You will own the full stack development for one or more of our products and collaborate with visual/interaction designers, other engineers, and product managers to launch new products, iterate on existing features, and build a world-class user experience.

You will implement cutting-edge technologies and write state-of-the-art code that keeps LinkedIn at the forefront of innovation.

Your specific expertise will be required to make the site delightful, secure, performant and accessible to all our members and customers.

You will review others' work and share knowledge.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or related practical experience.

2+ years of hands-on experience in developing backend services in Java and web development experience with object-oriented JavaScript, semantic HTML, CSS.

Extensive programming experience in modern JavaScript / TypeScript / similar languages; frameworks such as EmberJS / React / similar and building APIs

Preferred Qualifications

Experience developing multi-tier scalable and user-centric reliable applications that operate 24x7

Deep foundational knowledge of data structures and algorithms

Knowledge of UI and API frameworks and MVP application design
