About The Role

FOX Corporation is looking for a SDET(L2) for its digital Product Engineering iOS team.

Fox’s SDET is in charge of ensuring the highest quality release of our products. You will mainly

be focused on building an automation framework for the project at hand and deciding the best

end-to-end testing strategies for the product. The goal for this role is to increase automation test coverage so we can perform quick regression testing prior to each release. You will be working in an agile scrum team, responsible for performing various Quality Engineering functions, including designing test plans, bug reporting, and tools development.

The candidate will design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools to

ensure the highest quality of our iOS applications across different devices and iOS versions.

You’ll collaborate closely with iOS developers, product managers, and release engineers to

deliver scalable, stable, and high-performing iOS products.

Create, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases against our software platforms

and applications

Analyze and communicate test results and defect trackingExecute white box, black box, and manual testingParticipate in day-to-day team activities as part of an Agile teamEngage in cross-functional integration testing within technology teams and with third

parties

Engage in requirements elaboration and clarification with the product ownerEnhance and extend the automation libraryContribute to performance and scalability testing effortsProvide the testing estimates to the teamMentor and share the testing practices with the scrum teamTechnical ownership of software testing infrastructure and improving product qualityTake responsibility for monitoring product development and usage at all levels with an

eye toward improving product quality

Work on automation testing for all existing systemsSupport all production releases per sprintResearch, develop and/or recommend tools to assist the teamPerform API-level testing using Postman or Charles Proxy.Working with XCode, ADB commands , and emulator/simulator environments.Working with TestRail/zephyr or any test management tools along with Jira .

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

An industry experience of 3-7 yrsExperience with XCUITest/Appium (iOS) frameworks.Solid understanding of iOS application architecture, Xcode, and the iOS SDK .Experience working with simulators, real devices, and tools like TestFlight or Firebase

Test Lab

Experience testing and automating secure REST APIs testingExperience with Agile methodologiesExperience with Git and CI toolsExpertise with hands-on scripting/coding experience in any automation testing tools

(Selenium/Appium), Cucumber Framework, Pytest, TestNG, mocha/chai, nightwatchJS or CodeceptJS

Excellent communication, both verbal and writtenExperience with cloud-based device farms (BrowserStack/Sauce Labs/Headspin).

Nice To Have, But Not Required

B.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent experienceExperience in JavaScript
