Full job description
As an SDE 3 your role would involve solving interesting, distributed computing problems to handle the Petabyte scale for batch and stream use cases. You will be a Tech lead building features and systems to handle the multitude of Analytics/ Data science/BI use cases in real-time.
Requirements:
Bachelor's / Master's in Computer Science with at least 3 to 6 years of professional experience.
2+ years of experience working with Big Data systems involving Kafka, Apache Spark/EMR, Hive/Impala, Delta Lake, Presto, Airflow, and Data Lineage tools.
2+ years of hands-on experience in implementation and performance tuning Spark/DeltaLake/Presto implementations for terabytes scale.
Exceptional coding skills using Java, Scala, and Python.
1+ years of experience in building streaming solutions using Apache Flink/Spark Streaming/Samza.
Good Understanding of the AWS Big Data stack.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good to Have:
Contributor/Committer to the big data stack.
Data modelling experience and end-to-end data pipelining experience.
Knowledge of OLAP data cubes and BI tools.
Working knowledge of ELK, Redis, and MySQL.
Knowledge of RxJava, Java Springboot, and Microservices architecture.
