Responsibilities:

System Design: Architecting petabyte-scale, high-performance data pipelines (Spark, Flink) or robust backend systems with strong NFRs (scalability, fault tolerance).

Technical Leadership: Mentoring junior engineers, setting best practices, and leading complex projects end-to-end.

Ownership: Taking full responsibility for services, driving technical roadmaps, and collaborating with product/business teams.

Problem Solving: Tackling complex challenges in areas like information retrieval, machine learning, or e-commerce search.

Requirements:

Experience: 6-9+ years in software development, with a strong track record of delivering enterprise-grade software.

Programming: Expertise in Java, Python, Scala, C++, or similar.

Technologies: Distributed systems, databases (SQL/NoSQL), streaming/batch processing (Spark), search tech (Elasticsearch), and cloud (GCP).

Fundamentals: Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
