Johnson Controls is hiring for the role of Service Engineer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of HVAC systems, including chillers, VRF/VRV systems, AHUs, FCUs, package units, and ventilation equipment.
Diagnose and rectify faults in HVAC equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
Conduct installation, commissioning, and testing of HVAC systems at customer sites.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.
Attend service calls and provide technical support to customers.
Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and site documentation.
Coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Monitor equipment performance and recommend corrective actions or upgrades as required.
Support AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) activities and ensure SLA adherence.
Train customers and site personnel on the proper operation and maintenance of HVAC systems.
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or a related field.
HVAC certification or relevant technical training is preferred.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and refrigeration principles.
Experience with Chillers, VRF/VRV, DX systems, AHUs, FCUs, and ventilation systems.
Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Good troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
Familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards.
Proficiency in MS Office and service reporting tools.
Strong communication and customer-handling skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in commercial, industrial, or facility management environments.
Knowledge of BMS (Building Management Systems).
Understanding of energy efficiency and HVAC optimization techniques.
Experience managing AMC contracts and service schedules.
