JDE Technical Expert – Access Management, Audit Compliance & Deployment Governance

We are looking for an experienced JDE Technical Expert to take ownership of key governance, security, and deployment processes within our JD Edwards environment. This role is ideal for a technically strong consultant who combines hands-on JDE expertise with a structured and compliance-driven mindset.

As our JDE Technical Expert, you will play a critical role in strengthening application security, ensuring audit readiness, and establishing professional deployment management practices across the JDE landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Access Management & Role Governance

Review, analyze, and optimize existing JDE user access and security roles. Design and implement a scalable role-based access control (RBAC) framework. Define standards, processes, and governance for future role creation and maintenance. Work closely with business stakeholders to align access rights with job responsibilities and segregation of duties requirements. Maintain accurate documentation of security roles, permissions, and approval processes.

Audit Compliance & Security Controls

Assess current JDE configurations and processes against internal and external audit requirements. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory, security, and corporate governance standards. Identify control gaps and lead remediation activities. Support internal and external audit activities by providing documentation, evidence, and subject matter expertise. Establish and maintain sustainable compliance processes and controls within the JDE environment.

Deployment Management & Change Governance

Plan, coordinate, and govern deployments to the JDE production environment. Establish structured release management and deployment procedures. Ensure all deployments follow defined approval, testing, and documentation requirements. Maintain deployment schedules and provide visibility into change activities. Collaborate with development, testing, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure smooth and controlled releases.

Who are you?

Hands-on experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. Deep understanding of JDE security, user provisioning, role design, and access management. Experience supporting SOX, internal audit, compliance, or similar governance frameworks. Knowledge of JDE package builds, deployments, and release management processes. Experience documenting processes, controls, and governance frameworks. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Experience with Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis and remediation. Ability to work independently and drive initiatives from assessment through implementation.

Meritorious

Knowledge of risk and control frameworks within ERP environments. Experience working in complex, multinational organizations. Familiarity with ITIL change management practices. Experience with ERP security or governance tools. Experience working in a SCRUM organisation Hands-on experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.
