Role: Technical Consultant/Senior (Data Engineer) - Client SuccessLocation: Bangalore, Hybrid

About the role...We are looking for a highly motivated and technically strong Senior Technical Consultant – Client Success to join our team. In this role, you will support o9 customers post-implementation, ensuring seamless platform operations, strong customer outcomes, and high system reliability.

You will play a critical role in managing automated batch processes, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating across Support, DevOps, Product, and Customer teams to deliver a stable and scalable solution environment. This role requires to work in rotational shifts every 2 weeks, providing 24/7 coverage. Main focus is on workflow/batch monitoring with SSIS and Python skill + Support experience.

What you will do in this role:Ensure timely response, recovery, and resolution of batch automation disruptions while meeting customer SLAsMonitor and maintain smooth operations of o9’s cloud-based platformWork closely with DevOps and Support teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issuesValidate, transform, and manage customer data using tools like SQL, SSIS, Excel, Apache NiFi, Hadoop, PySpark, and HiveAnalyze customer data, understand functional/technical dependencies, and ensure data integritySupport CI/CD processes and improve system reliabilityMonitor and analyze system performance metrics for continuous improvementDevelop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShellUnderstand and work with o9 platform data models (tables, relationships, optimization structures)Fine-tune performance, automate manual processes, and implement system checksCreate and execute integration test cases; track and resolve bugs/issuesworks in 24X7. 2 weeks rotational shift, focusing mainly on workflow/batch monitoring with SSIS and Python skill + Support exp

What you’ll have...3-6 years of relevant experience in technical consulting, support, or similar rolesStrong proficiency in Python and SQLHands-on experience with ETL tools like SSISExperience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShellExposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (preferred)Experience with planning tools such as SAP, Oracle, e2open, Kinaxis, JDA (preferred)Knowledge of data processing tools like Hadoop, PySpark, Hive (preferred)Familiarity with statistical/optimization tools (R/Python/JavaScript) is a plusStrong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skillsAbility to take ownership and work independently with minimal supervisionGood understanding of system performance tuning and automationEducationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Statistics, or a related quantitative fieldMaster’s degree (preferred)

Note: This role will require working in Rotational shifts. (This will be complete remote working, but once in a while have to visit office - maybe once in every 3 months)
