Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Staff Product Validation Engineer to join our organization in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will lead comprehensive product validation initiatives, ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability across our product portfolio. As a senior-level engineer, you will drive validation strategies, mentor junior team members, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional products to market. Your expertise in testing methodologies, analytical mindset, and organized approach will be instrumental in identifying and resolving complex product issues before they reach customers.

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive product validation test plans and strategies aligned with organizational objectivesLead root cause analysis investigations for product defects and failures, providing detailed technical documentation and recommendationsDevelop and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts to improve validation efficiency and coverageMentor and guide junior validation engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellenceCollaborate with product management, engineering, and operations teams to define validation requirements and acceptance criteriaAnalyze test results and product performance data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvementEstablish and optimize validation processes, tools, and best practices to enhance team productivity and product qualityEnsure compliance with regulatory standards and industry requirements throughout the validation lifecycleManage defect tracking, prioritization, and resolution workflows to maintain product integrityConduct performance, load, and security testing to validate product robustness under various conditionsPrepare detailed validation reports and metrics for stakeholder communication and decision-makingStay current with emerging validation technologies, testing frameworks, and industry standards

Qualifications

15+ years of experience in product validation, quality assurance, or software testingProven expertise in designing and implementing test automation frameworks and scripting languagesStrong proficiency in defect tracking tools and test management platformsAdvanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate complex technical issuesDemonstrated experience with performance, load, and functional testing methodologiesKnowledge of Agile/Scrum development processes and CI/CD pipeline integrationExperience mentoring and leading validation engineering teamsExcellent technical documentation and communication skillsFamiliarity with regulatory compliance standards and quality frameworks relevant to product developmentStrong organizational and project management capabilitiesProficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretation for test metricsExperience with security testing and vulnerability assessment practicesKnowledge of API testing and microservices validation approachesAbility to work effectively in cross-functional team environments
