Drive product excellence from concept to volume production by defining quality targets aligned with customer, market, and application needs. Lead qualification strategies, manage technical risks, oversee product validation and failure analysis, and ensure robust quality standards throughout the product lifecycle. Act as the voice of the customer, collaborate across cross-functional teams, and make critical quality and risk management decisions to deliver reliable, high-value solutions for customers and Infineon.

Key responsibilities in your new role

Define and deploy quality targets for products based on customer, market and application requirements, in addition proactively capturefuture goalsDevelop a qualification strategy and plan (cost, time, resources) basedon customer requirements or product and technology innovationContribute to technical risk management by method and product expertise as well as being a role-model of a challenging reviewerConduct product qualification according to plan including assessment of test and construction analysis results, in case of device fails drive failure analysis and problem solvingEnsure that quality criteria are met with focus on value add for customers and InfineonDrive information and documentation of product quality related topics like quality related queries and qualification documentsAct as advocate for the customer and particularly focus on our client's needs in the course of problem solvingDecide in case of product and production deviations and risk management for products in volume productionCooperate with other internal business and operational functions for all Quality Management aspects

You have excellent problem-solving skills and stay focused under pressure.As a team player, you communicate openly and coherently and it's easy for you to get internal and external stakeholders on-board to work towards a common goal.Moreover, you are personally committed to the customer's concerns and award them a high priority.Self-organized and diligent, you enjoy working independently and value a structured approach.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

A university or university of applied science degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or comparableAt least 5+ years of experience in the fields of Quality Engineering/ Reliability Engineering/ Quality Management in a technical environment and/or Research & Development/ Engineering/ Application of product and/ or technology, there of ideally 3+ years in the semiconductor industryTechnical understanding regarding either the structure, function, manufacturing and/ or application of integrated power semiconductor productsAdvanced background on wide band gap semiconductor technologies, ideally experience in GaN HEMT devices/ technologyGood knowledge of integrated power transistors and corresponding electrical test methodsGood knowledge of reliability tests and methods as well as failure analysisBasic knowledge in quality methods such as e.g. FMEA, 8D and/ orinternational standards as JEDEC/ AECQ as a plusSolid participation in a project management environment within cross-divisional teams
