Senior Solutions Architect

GitLab is hiring for the role of Intermediate Senior Solutions Architect!

Responsibility of the Candidate:

Lead technical discovery, demonstrations, and validation to show how GitLab's AI-powered DevSecOps platform meets customers' technical and business needs across the software development lifecycle.

Own the technical evaluation process, including solution design, proofs of concept or value, workshops, and technical contributions to tenders, audits, and value stream assessments.

Collaborate with Account Executives and regional sales teams across Commercial and Enterprise segments to shape account strategies for new customer acquisition and expansion, with a focus on GCC, Digital Native, and startup accounts.

Support regional go-to-market partners that provide Professional Services, helping them deliver consistent technical guidance and apply effective practices during partner-led engagements.

Represent GitLab at online and in-person marketing events, including webinars, industry events, presentations, roundtables, panels, demonstration days, and hackathons.

Build trusted relationships with technical practitioners and business leaders, guide GitLab-driven transformation, and help customers become GitLab advocates.

Advise customers on modern software development, continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD), security, and cloud practices to improve their return on investment.

Share customer feedback, use cases, and competitive insights with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing while continuing to build expertise and reusable guidance in GitLab, DevSecOps, AI, and cloud technologies.

Requirements

Experience guiding Commercial and Enterprise customers through solution design and evaluation in technical presales, consulting, or a similar role.

Experience working with India's GCCs, Digital Native organizations, and startups is highly valued.

Knowledge of the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including modern DevSecOps practices and CI/CD workflows.

Hands-on experience with GitLab or comparable source control, CI/CD, and collaboration platforms, with the ability to connect platform capabilities to customer use cases.

Practical knowledge of cloud computing concepts and related technologies, including deployment, security, and operations options.

Ability to lead proofs of concept or value, contribute to tenders or audits, and design and run workshops or value stream assessments.

Clear technical communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt your message for practitioners and senior business and technical decision-makers.

Skill in building trusted relationships, listening with empathy, advocating for customers, collaborating with go-to-market or Professional Services partners, and continuously learning new technologies.
