Specifically, you will drive platform capabilities like:

Deeply understanding the user's home and what's in it.

Observing and recognizing patterns and habits in order to identify anomalies and events of significance.

Identifying and weighing opportunities to notify the user across their devices and across supported modalities (app, audio, visual) balancing utility and annoyance

You will work closely with Home teams like Infrastructure, Experiences, and Google Home Platform to:

Integrate data models and new signals into existing and new offline and online data pipelines and serving systems.

Prototype, productionize, and launch experiences across the Home app and the voice assistant devices.

The goal is to build a smarter, more helpful home, including experiences like:

A security agent that knows everything that's happening inside and around your home and can keep you and your family safe.

An intelligent agent that can notify you when anything needs your attention and suggests actions to take or even takes these actions on your behalf when appropriate.

Manage and lead the proactive intelligence team.

Partner with XFN leads on strategy and roadmap.

Drive the full lifecycle of developing novel proactive experiences from prototyping to productionizing.

Push the boundaries of AI applications to background experiences and partner with the GDM team and the wider Home Intelligence team to adopt the latest models and techniques.

Partner with Home platform teams to uplevel our development, experimentation, and deployment infrastructure.

Champion and adopt AI across the development process to achieve higher product velocity.
