Role Summary

Build, evolve, and operate scalable web applications for ZoomInfo. You’ll work primarily with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to deliver high-quality user experiences, while also collaborating with backend services and contributing to Node.js-based integrations where needed. The role requires a strong focus on performance, reliability, maintainability, and clean engineering practices.

What You’ll Do

Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-quality web applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSSTranslate product and UX requirements into clean, reusable, and maintainable frontend architecture and componentsBuild reusable UI components and shared libraries with a focus on consistency, accessibility, and performanceIntegrate frontend applications with REST/GraphQL APIs and work with backend engineers to ensure robustness, security, and data consistencyContribute to Node.js-based backend integrations and APIs where needed, especially for frontend-facing use casesOptimize application performance through lazy loading, code splitting, caching, rendering improvements, and debugging production issuesWrite production-ready code with unit/integration tests; participate in code reviews and maintain strong engineering standardsInvestigate and resolve issues reported in production, ensuring high availability and a smooth user experienceWork with CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments, and cloud-based deployments in collaboration with platform/backend teamsMentor junior engineers and contribute to shared frontend standards, best practices, and technical design discussions

What You Bring

7+ years of software engineering experience, including strong hands-on experience building frontend applications with React and TypeScriptStrong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frontend development practicesSolid understanding of frontend architecture, state management, component design, performance optimization, and responsive UI developmentExperience integrating with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL APIs in production systemsWorking knowledge of Node.js and ability to contribute to lightweight backend/API development when neededStrong understanding of frontend testing practices, including unit and integration testingExperience debugging production issues and improving application performance, reliability, and maintainabilityFamiliarity with containerization and cloud environments such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or GCPGood understanding of secure coding practices, authentication/authorization flows, and general web security principlesStrong collaboration and communication skills; ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environmentExperience mentoring junior engineers and contributing to planning, design, and execution of work

Nice To Have

Experience with Next.js or other modern React frameworksFamiliarity with Node.js/TypeScript backend frameworks such as NestJS or ExpressExperience with design systems, shared component libraries, and accessibility standardsExposure to observability tools such as Datadog, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, or similarExperience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLabFamiliarity with feature flags, API gateways, rate limiting, and frontend performance monitoringExperience working on large-scale SaaS products or data-heavy applications
