As a Senior Software Engineer, You'll be responsible for designing, building, delivering and maintaining software applications & services. You will be responsible for software lifecycle including activities such as requirement analysis, documentation/procedures and implementation.

Roles and Responsibilities
In This Role, You Will
Identify the scope of work, develop realistic effort estimates, and justify assumptions using data and facts.Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and the key inputs, outputs, and deliverables across each phase.Leverage AI-powered development tools and coding assistants to improve engineering productivity, code quality, test generation, debugging efficiency, and documentation.Participate in technical discussions, contribute to architecture and design decisions, and effectively communicate technical concepts through design reviews and whiteboarding sessions.Drive the adoption of AI-enabled engineering practices through mentoring, knowledge sharing, and establishment of best practices.Maintain high code quality through coding standards, peer reviews, unit testing, automation, and continuous integration practices.Seek and provide constructive feedback on software design, architecture, and implementation.Make informed technology decisions based on technical due diligence, risk assessment, scalability, and business impact.Develop a comprehensive understanding of the product, its modules, and the broader ecosystem of interconnected devices and systems.Design scalable, maintainable, and secure software solutions while championing quality through effective testing strategies.Write high-quality, standards-compliant code that delivers required functionality using the technologies selected for the project.Lead design reviews, define interfaces between software components, and effectively apply existing technologies to solve complex engineering problems.Assess application performance and drive optimization through architectural improvements, AI-driven insights, and software engineering best practices.Provide technical leadership in defining, developing, and evolving software solutions in a fast-paced Agile environment using modern development technologies and infrastructure.Demonstrate expertise in data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns, with the ability to implement efficient solutions using the appropriate programming language.Collaborate with Product Line Leaders (PLLs), Program Managers, and other stakeholders to understand product vision, roadmap, and business priorities.Identify opportunities to incorporate AI-driven capabilities into products, workflows, and engineering processes to enhance customer value, operational efficiency, and innovation.
Critically evaluate AI-generated outputs, ensuring accuracy, security, compliance, and adherence to engineering and regulatory standards before adoption in production systems.
Education Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in software development.Hands-on experience in software development related to Core Java with knowledge of data structures, multithreading, concurrency, design patterns, SOAKnowledge on JVM performance tuning and memory management.Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, Software Design PatternsExperience in building sophisticated and highly automated infrastructures. Exposure to BDD/ TDD practices.Experience working within Agile/Scrum software development frameworkStrong Debugging and Troubleshooting Expertise.Strong problem-solving abilities and capable of articulating specific technical topics or assignmentsExpert in breaking down problems and estimate time for development tasksProven track record maintaining legacy codebases under backward-compatibility constraints
Desired (Good To Have) Skills
Experience with micro-services development, Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), experience with Jenkins, GITWorking experience on HL7 implementationGood knowledge or experience in containerization platforms like Docker & KubernetesWeb Services, hibernate, Spring framework.
