The role
Senior software engineer for an autonomous vehicles (AV) platform team at NVIDIA in Bangalore, India, supporting adaptation of the NVIDIA AV Software platform to customer ECUs and vehicle environments. You will analyze, debug, and fix bugs across platform software components, enhance integration efficiency for low-latency development on Autonomous Vehicle Simulation & Car platforms, and contribute to platform software, tools, filesystem customization, and software integration. Required skills include Linux, QNX, device drivers, C, C++, Bazel, and debugging from application to kernel level on embedded hardware, with 8+ years of relevant experience and ADAS/autonomous driving platform software stack experience (middleware & sensors). Support adaptation of NVIDIA AV Software platform to the customer ECU, Vehicle environment. Regularly engage with customer teams to productize workflows for platform integrationAnalyse, debug, fix bugs in the SW platform components to deliver high quality SW releases to customersEnhance integration efficiency to facilitate low latency development on Autonomous Vehicle Simulation & Car platformsContribute to platform software development, tools, filesystem customization, and software integration
What We Need To See
BS or MS degree from a leading university, or equivalent experience, in an engineering or computer science related discipline with 8+ years of relevant working experienceWorking experience with ADAS or autonomous driving software stack, particularly platform SW components, middleware & sensorsProficient debugging skills from application to kernel level on embedded hardwareGood working knowledge of Linux and QNX and experience with device driversExcellent programming skills in C, C++ and understanding of build systems (like Bazel)Good written and verbal interpersonal skills - concisely articulate knowledge and ideas
