Xometry is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our company's accounting/finance department. You'll be responsible for supporting all aspects of payroll operations. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Human Resources, Tax and Legal.
How You’ll Contribute:
Processes bi-weekly multi-State payroll, including the collection of timesheet data, validating employee changes and processing New Hires & TerminationsReviews, audits, and makes corrections as needed to Timecard data and prepares Timecard data for imports, which includes paid time off, leave of absence, and various other pay typesEnsures timesheets are processed and approved by manager timely and follow up as necessaryProcess new hires, state-to-state movements, terminations, status changes, LOAs, tax changes, deductions, direct deposits, rate changes, retroactive adjustments, and special paysMaintains the confidentiality and accuracy of all payroll recordsLiaison with Human Resource staff regarding payroll related issues to ensure payroll is processed accurately and timelyValidate New Hire Tax Setup in the Payroll system for accuracyProcess monthly Stock Vesting’s and Exercises through payroll for reporting of wages and taxesProvide prompt, courteous, and efficient service to employees with questions regarding their pay, deductions, or the payroll processEnsures legal compliances with the state and federal regulationsMaintain payroll records as well as employee recordsActively participate in any system implementations as it relates to payroll processing or dataSupports Payroll Manager as neededPerforms other related duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring to Xometry:
5+ years of payroll experienceExcellent command of the English language in both written and verbal formsBachelor's degree in finance, human resource management, or a similar fieldFundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) heavily desiredComprehensive experience with US payroll is requiredHas worked with public companies and/or has worked with equity in the past Experience administering deductions, garnishments, FSAs, HSAs, retirement plans, and benefits contributionsExperience with quarterly audits and year end reconciliationsExperience running multi state payroll and creating reportsHighly proficient with Payroll software ADP Workforce NowExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsMust be able to work under pressure and meet deadlinesFamiliarity with labor legislation and federal tax lawsThe ability to ethically work with employee-sensitive informationGood interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with team members
