The role guides governance reporting processes and advises stakeholders across enterprise lines of defence.

Full job description

This role reports to the Director of Non-Financial Risk Governance & Reporting and is part of the Group Risk function. The Group Risk function covers all aspects of Operational, Financial and Strategic risk across the Group giving a unique insight and exposure to all areas of the Group. The Non-Financial Risk team is responsible for establishing the framework for the management of all non-financial risks across the Group. The function acts as a close advisor to businesses and is engaged in all key strategic initiatives.

This role forms part of the Second Line of Defence and is responsible for the management of effective reporting in support of the Non-Financial Risk Framework.

The role will require close liaison with the stakeholders across Group Risk (including Leadership) as well as senior management within the other lines of defence.

Key Responsibilities

Define the vision and target state for Non-Financial Risk Reporting, aligned to delivery of the Non-Financial Risk Framework.Design, implement and manage risk reporting processes and tools.Maintain effective relationships across the lines of defence and build dashboards and scheduled reports aligned to stakeholder needs.Guide and develop junior staff in the Non-Financial Risk Governance & Reporting team.

Candidate Profile / Key Skills

Experienced risk reporting professional.Able to manage delivery across teams to fixed deadlines, whilst maintaining attention to detail.Able to turn reporting requirements into sustainable processes.Understanding of business intelligence/data visualisation tools.Exposure to Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) solutions.Familiarity with Non-Financial risk framework components, e.g. Risk & Control Assessment.Broad knowledge of Non-Financial risks in the context of a large enterprise.Comfortable managing own workload.Ability to build and foster strong relationships at all levels with excellent stakeholder management experience.AI experience is beneficial.Professional accreditation in risk management is a plus.
