Senior Manager - Compliance Testing

About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Manager – Compliance to strengthen and drive slice’s compliance framework across regulatory requirements, business processes and key risk areas. The role will work closely with business and functional teams, provide practical compliance advisory, lead compliance testing, and support regulatory engagements including RBI inspections.

What You will do

Own and drive compliance testing and monitoring across key regulatory and business processes; identify gaps and track remediation to closure.Provide day-to-day compliance advisory to business and support functions on RBI regulations, circulars, guidelines and applicable statutory requirements.Coordinate and support RBI inspections, regulatory reviews and supervisory engagements, including data, responses, observations and action-plan tracking.Track regulatory developments, assess their business impact, and work with stakeholders to translate requirements into clear, actionable controls and processes.Strengthen the compliance framework through MIS, governance forums, policy reviews, issue escalation and continuous improvement.

What You will need

7–10 years of overall experience, with 5+ years in a compliance role within banking, NBFC or financial services.Strong hands-on experience in compliance testing, regulatory compliance, advisory and RBI inspections / supervisory engagements.Good understanding of RBI regulations, banking compliance frameworks, policies, controls and regulatory reporting requirements.Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement, and translate regulatory requirements into practical business actions.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with a hands-on, problem-solving mindset suited to a fast-growing organisation.
