Full job description

Pegasystems is looking for a Senior/Lead Technical Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale, cloud-native solutions for Fortune 500 customers. In this role, you will provide architectural leadership, mentor technical teams, and ensure that Pega-based solutions are scalable, resilient, and aligned with business objectives. You will work closely with clients, consultants, developers, and experience design teams across global regions to drive successful digital transformation initiatives using the Pega Platform.

Responsibilities:

Lead technical architecture and solution design for large-scale client implementations.

Provide architectural governance and technical oversight across multiple projects.

Translate business requirements into scalable, cloud-native technical solutions.

Drive adoption of modern technologies including Kubernetes, containers, microservices, and cloud platforms.

Mentor architects and engineers on best practices and emerging Pega technologies.

Act as a trusted advisor to clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.

Ensure successful delivery across all phases of the software development lifecycle.

Contribute thought leadership in architecture, cloud strategy, and enterprise application design.

Requirements:

6 to 12 years of software architecture, application development, or consulting experience.

Strong experience with: Performance Engineering, including performance testing, capacity planning, bottleneck analysis, and tuning enterprise-scale applications, Kubernetes and containerised deployments; Microservices architecture; Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP); Distributed systems and clustered deployments; Docker and container technologies.

Experience driving technical and non-functional architecture requirements.

Hands-on knowledge of: PostgreSQL, Oracle, and NoSQL databases (Cassandra preferred), Java/J2EE-based enterprise applications.

Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
