Full job description

We are looking for a Senior IT Engineer with strong hands-on experience in endpoint security and device management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, securing, and supporting end-user devices across the organisation using tools such as CrowdStrike EDR, Jamf Pro, Microsoft Intune, and other endpoint management and response solutions. This role also includes acting as Level 2 (L2) IT Support for endpoint and user-related issues.

Responsibilities:

Manage and administer endpoint security solutions, primarily CrowdStrike EDR, including policy configuration, alert triage, incident response, and remediation.

Deploy, configure, and maintain device management platforms such as Jamf Pro (macOS) and Microsoft Intune (Windows, macOS, mobile devices).

Ensure compliance with security baselines, patching, and device hardening standards across all endpoints.

Monitor endpoint health, security events, and performance; investigate and respond to endpoint-related incidents.

Automate device provisioning, software deployment, patch management, and configuration using MDM/UEM tools.

Provide L2 IT Support for end-user and endpoint-related issues, including OS problems, device enrollment, security agent issues, application access, and policy-related incidents.

Act as an escalation point from L1 support and coordinate with L3 Security and Infrastructure teams when required.

Collaborate with Security, IT Infrastructure, and Compliance teams to implement and improve endpoint security controls.

Maintain documentation for endpoint configurations, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides.

Support audits and compliance initiatives by providing endpoint security and management reports.

Stay updated with the latest trends in endpoint security, EDR, and device management technologies.

Requirements:

3-5 years of hands-on experience in IT endpoint management and support.

Strong experience with CrowdStrike EDR (installation, policy management, alert investigation, and response).

Hands-on experience with Jamf Pro for macOS device management.

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune for Windows and cross-platform device management.

Proven experience handling L2 IT Support responsibilities in an enterprise environment.

Solid understanding of endpoint security concepts, EDR, antivirus, device compliance, and zero-trust principles.

Experience managing Windows, macOS, and mobile devices (iOS/Android).

Good knowledge of OS troubleshooting, patching, and device lifecycle management.

Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or similar) is a plus.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Experience with additional endpoint or security tools (e. g., Defender for Endpoint, Workspace ONE, SentinelOne).

Knowledge of identity and access management (Azure AD / Entra ID).

IT certifications related to endpoint management or security (Jamf, Microsoft, CrowdStrike, etc. ).

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
