Job Introduction:
Provides strategic and operational leadership for multiple engineering teams. Oversees technical execution, cross-functional collaboration, and team development to ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions aligned with Tekion’s business objectives.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:Leads multiple engineering teams through the development lifecycle—from design through deployment—ensuring delivery of high-impact products and services.Collaborates with product, design, architecture, and operations leaders to define technical strategy and roadmaps.Oversees team structure, resource planning, hiring, and talent development across functional areas.Drives technical excellence by promoting engineering best practices, quality standards, and operational efficiency.Leads organizational transformation efforts related to scalability, automation, and platform modernization.Coaches engineering managers and senior engineers, providing mentorship, performance feedback, and career development support.
Basic Qualifications:10+ years of experience in software engineering, including 4+ years in engineering leadership rolesBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldProven success in managing multiple engineering teams and delivering large-scale software solutionsDeep understanding of cloud platforms, distributed systems, and development operationsStrong strategic thinking, project management, and decision-making capabilitiesExcellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
