Senior Engineer

Job Description

The Senior Engineer is responsible for contributing across the product development lifecycle, delivering high ‑ quality software and system capabilities within established architectural and engineering frameworks. The role operates with significant technical autonomy, provides guidance and knowledge sharing to junior engineers, and supports system integration and optimization efforts.

Mandatory Skills

Candidate should possess hands on experience on Layer-1, algorithm design, implementation and optimization on DSP, ASSP Processors, FPGA platform Design, implement and test real-time L1 Baseband software for 5G-NR, LTE-A, O-RAN nodes on ARM CPU Cores and DSP cores Experience in L1 SW optimization for performance, memory utilization on real-time embedded DSP platform and ensure that design meets performance requirements. Should be specialized in system engineering aspects, design and evaluate complex algorithms in MATLAB/C Environment. Should have in depth knowledge of 3GPP layer 1 specifications & Algorithms for 4G /NB-IoT/5G, ORAN Split definitions, Conformance Test Criterions Candidate should have a deep understanding of various lab equipment such as - signal generators, signal and spectrum analyzers, channel emulators. Good understanding of wireless communication fundamentals and its application in design.

Desired Skills

Familiar with any of these technologies OFDM, MIMO, Bea, MmformingMSE, Turbo/LDPC codes, Physical channels, CPRI/eCPRI interface. Should have work experience in eNodeB/gNodeB/UE L1 SW development. Familiar with any RAN Platform architecture, L1 Schedulers Good debugging skills, log analysis and solving Field issues

Responsibilities

Participate across the full product development lifecycle including planning, requirement analysis, module/subsystem design, implementation, validation, verification, and field testingAnalyze features and dependencies across subsystems and support phased and synchronized system deliveriesDevelop and deliver assigned solutions that meet defined quality, performance, and release objectivesExecute and support system integration activities and collaborate with partner teams during user acceptance testingIdentify, analyze, and resolve defects through structured debugging and root‑cause analysisContribute to performance tuning, stability improvement, and quality enhancementsMaintain accurate and complete technical documentation as part of deliveryParticipate in reviews, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiativesBuild and apply telecom domain expertise across 4G, 5G, and 6G. Strengthen software engineering and design capabilities for assigned modules. Gain proficiency in production-grade development practices. Leverage AI effectively to improve productivity.

Qualifications

Experience: 4 to 6 years’ experience from Telecommunication or Networking background.

Education: B.Tech/BE (CSE/ECE/EEE/IS) or any other equivalent degree

Candidate should have good coding skills in C/C++
