Responsibilities

Support timing constraints development and validation for functional and test modesPerform timing analysis and closure at block/subsystem levelAnalyze setup and hold timing violations and work with Physical Design and Design teams for closureSupport timing ECO generation, implementation, and validationGenerate and review timing reports across different modes and cornersSupport timing signoff activities and debug timing/constraint issues

Required Skills and Experience:

Good understanding of STA fundamentals, including setup/hold, clocking, timing exceptions, and timing constraintsHands-on experience with STA tools such as PrimeTime or TempusBasic understanding of Physical Design flow, including placement, CTS, routing, and timing closureUnderstanding of timing ECO techniques such as cell sizing, buffering, and Vt swapsExposure to multi-mode multi-corner (MMMC) timing analysisKnowledge of advanced technology nodes is preferredGood scripting skills in TCL, Perl, or PythonGood data analysis and debugging skillsAbility to collaborate with Physical Design, RTL/Design, DFT, and Constraint teams2–4 years of experience in Physical Implementation, STA, or Timing SignoffGood communication and problem-solving skills
