Full job description
The Sustainable Finance and Investments Specialist team is responsible for researching existing and new sustainability standards and regulations and work with business and operations teams to enhance our sustainability content offering.
Role, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:
Research evolving regulations pertaining to Sustainable Finance and Investments (SFI) and convert them into opportunities by working with Proposition, Data Strategy, Research, Development and Content Operation teams.
Provide subject matter expertise on Sustainable Finance and Investments (SFI) content including Taxonomy, Policy, Guidance.
Develop sustainability content and policies
Conduct research and analysis on sustainability trends
Driving continuous improvements in policies, oversight on regulatory changes
Review and enhance guidance for data collection to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Ensures consistency in application with regular calibration and removing ambiguity where necessary
Oversees data volatility
Create documentations for internal and client consumption.
Support frontline teams in client interactions and represent Sustainable Finance and Investments (SFI) business.
Build talent pipeline in the team to support research of regulations and its impact on SFI content offerings.
Lead Sustainability related projects to closure.
Participates in the development of new business proposals and assists on other ongoing project work.
Share knowledge and expertise in developing new methods of working which focus on cost effectiveness & resource efficiency.
Resolution of complex client cases including queries on methodology and policy.
Collaborate with cross-functional team
Required Skills:
Good understanding of Sustainability (including ESG) content, marketplace, frameworks and regulations.
Ability to research evolving regulations and deriving meaningful insights and clear plan of action
Experience in leading multiple projects simultaneously
A good track record of delivering projects on time on scope and as per specifications including prioritization and requirements alignment across contending demand from internal and external customers
Research and Analysis skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent storytelling skill
Proficient in one or more technical skills – SQL, Python, AI
Desired Skills:
Industry certification pertaining to Sustainability
Experience in data modelling for data on strategic data interfaces
Proficient in one or more technical skills – SQL, Python, Agentic AI.
