Role Summary

The Packet Core – Cloud Engineer is responsible for the designing, developing, deploying and validating AI orchestrated Mavenir Packet Core Applications in Public, Hybrid and Private Cloud Environments

Key Responsibilities

Design, Develop, Test and Deploy Packet Core Applications in Public, Hybrid and Private CloudLeverage AI to develop Packet Core Applications with strict human oversight.Play a key role in setting the technical direction for the projectTechnically resolving design and implementation issues, sharing knowledge and driving the project to success.Communicate with other groups in the company, such as operations, system-test, PLM and management.Support the deployment of Cloud Native Packet Core Applications in production networkAutomate the deployment with CI/CD principles

Job Requirements

B.S or M.S (Computer Science or a related technical field preferred), should have proven course work in several computer software, algorithms, data structures, programming languages subject areas3+ years minimum experience in public cloud like AWS and/or Google3+ years of experience working with mission-critical applications based on micro-services architectureExperienced in developing applications using AI technologiesStrong experience and understanding of Kubernetes and Docker technologiesStrong experience and understanding building Web-Scale applicationsStrong understanding of REST architectural and RESTful APIs Web ServicesExperience with CNIs like Calico, Multus, SRIOV, Cilium, OVNExperience with Monitoring solutions of AWS and GoogleExperience with Auto Scaling applications in CloudExperience with Hybrid Application Deployment in AWS Outpost or Google Distributed Cloud Edge(GDCE)Experience with Service Mesh technologies like Istio Service MeshExperience in Linux systems administration in a Cloud or Virtualized environment.Practical experience with NoSQL database technologiesExperience building Reactive SystemsWorking knowledge of SCM tools (e.g. Git, Atlassian) for software developmentSeeks out opportunities for continuous improvementTeam player and seeks out opportunities for continuous improvementStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsSelf-starter with ability to thrive in a high pressure, mission-critical environment
