What You Can Expect

We are looking for a highly experienced and technically strong Senior RPA Developer to join our Intelligent Automation Center of Excellence (CoE) within our GCC. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-grade automation solutions across business functions. You will work closely with Zimmer Biomet’s AI/Automation Architect, process owners, business analysts to deliver scalable, resilient, and well-governed automation that drives measurable value for the organization.

This is a hands-on technical role that also requires the ability to contribute to solution design and ensure adherence to governance and documentation standards throughout the RPA lifecycle.

Work Location: Bangalore

Work Mode: Hybrid (3 Days in office)

Shift Timing - 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM

How You'll Create Impact

Development & Delivery

Design and develop end-to-end RPA solutions using Blue Prism (v6.x / v7.x), UiPath, and Power Automate Desktop, following best practices and internal coding standards Build robust automation using Object Studio, Process Studio, work queues, exception handling, and reusable components Integrate RPA solutions with enterprise systems including SAP ECC / S4HANA, web applications, Outlook, Excel, and third-party APIs using Blue Prism API and Web Services Develop and maintain database interactions using SQL Server and Oracle for data extraction, transformation, and logging Write supporting scripts and utilities in C#.NET, VBA, Python, VB, and SQL to extend automation capabilities Implement OCR, Microsoft Copilot automation, and apply Generative AI / LLM concepts to enhance intelligent automation solutions

Solution Design & Governance

Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation including PDD (Process Design Document), SDD (Solution Design Document), As-Is / To-Be process maps, Bot Charter, and User Manuals Conduct thorough process analysis and feasibility assessments to determine automation suitability and expected ROI Ensure all automations are built with proper exception handling, alerting, and monitoring from the ground up Manage and monitor bot execution via the Control Room, ensuring SLA adherence and proactive issue resolution

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, validate process maps, and align automation design with business objectives Work closely with IT, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure automations meet enterprise compliance standards Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, managing tasks and defects through JIRA and ServiceNow

Mentoring & Quality

Provide technical guidance and code reviews for junior RPA developers Contribute to CoE best practices, reusable component libraries, and automation governance frameworks Support UAT, post-production validation, and hypercare activities for deployed bots

Your Background

Required Qualifications & Skills

Must-Have

8–12 years of overall IT experience with a minimum of 7+ years in RPA development Hands-on proficiency in Blue Prism (v6.x and v7.x) — mandatory; certification preferred Working knowledge of UiPath and/or Power Automate Cloud and Desktop Strong command of SAP automation (ECC / S4HANA) and Web-based automation Experience with queue-based processing, and enterprise exception handling patterns Proficiency in SQL (SQL Server / Oracle) for data handling within automation workflows Solid understanding of Blue Prism API and Web Services integration Hands-on experience with scripting in C#.NET, VBA, or Python Strong documentation skills — PDD, SDD, Bot Charter, As-Is / To-Be Familiarity with JIRA and ServiceNow for project and incident management

Good to Have

Experience with OCR tools and intelligent document processing Exposure to Microsoft Copilot automation and Generative AI / LLM concepts in an automation context Knowledge of HTML5 for web automation scenarios Advanced MS Excel skills including macros and VBA Experience in a GCC or shared services environment Blue Prism or UiPath Developer core certification
