We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Analyst - Derived Pricing .

In This Role, You Will

The responsibility would be to own and manage enterprise reference data maintenance and Pricing. Various Asset classes are part of such maintenance and Pricing, such as Fixed Income, Equities, Derivatives & Foreign Exchange. The responsibilities also include the management of market data feeds both end of day as well as real time data. Data is obtained from third party vendors, as well as update internal data tasks to support both external and internal data on HSBC systems for the above-mentioned products. The staff will be involved in maintaining the pricing of Instrument Reference data & responsible to support the existing BAU process. The teams will own the tasks mentioned above and will be responsible for the input, amendment and maintenance of products and rates. Information is sourced from external 3rd party applications and databases such as Bloomberg and Refinitiv and these are in turn updated in the necessary product applications. Responsible for performing reference data quality checks across various financial products i.e. Equities, Fixed Income, & Derivatives. Good understanding of the Business owned systems & downstream impacts. Excellent product knowledge on both Vanilla & Complex securities, understanding pricing flow & terminologies, impact of corporate actions etc. Understand the regulatory requirements & internal FIM policies applicable to each of the products. Understands the attributes used in the reference data world & has complete knowledge of the various vendor systems such as LSEG, Bloomberg, MarkIT etc. Is responsible for delivering 100% quality data on all verification processes. Responsible for queue management, ensuring no turnaround time - breaches are reported & breaches/delays are communicated to the requestors in advance. Follow up on ageing requests & clarifications required from the Business. Responsible for updating procedure documents for new changes & gaps if any to the existing procedures and strictly adhere to procedures when handling reference data requests. Identify areas of opportunity to improve service delivery and productivity to maximize service quality and operational efficiency.

To Be Successful, You Will

Should possess knowledge on financial services, Capital markets, investment banking. Reference data functions like Security Master, Corporate Action & Pricing will be an added advantage. Understanding internal systems & challenges. Good knowledge on Market /Regulatory updates and impact on the process. Good verbal and written communication skill. Moderate/Good Excel and Access skills. Minimum 2 years of work with reference data services for financial sectors Eye for detail and Quick learner. Strong interpersonal skills Excellent Customer facing skills and ability to build rapport with clients. Excellent English written and communication skills. Additional Information / Specific Skills (If Any) Reference Data knowledge Flexibility in shifts. Post-Graduate/Graduate in Finance or related degree
