Data Engineer - Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake & dbt

Join the Data & Analytics organization to help build scalable data solutions, drive business insights, and enable data-driven decision-making across Thomson Reuters. The role combines data engineering, analytics, visualization, and AI-enabled analytics using modern platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Power BI, Tableau, and dbt.

Key Responsibilities

Gather and analyze business, financial, and operational data requirements.Design semantic models, data marts, and analytics solutions.Build dashboards and visualizations using Power BI and/or Tableau.Develop and maintain data transformation pipelines using dbt and Snowflake.Create and support semantic models in Microsoft Fabric.Deliver actionable insights through reporting, presentations, and data storytelling.Collaborate with stakeholders and communicate effectively across all organizational levels.Support AI-driven analytics, including Generative AI and self-service analytics solutions.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Snowflake, and dbt.Strong SQL and data analysis skills.Experience building data pipelines and transformation workflows.Hands-on experience with dashboard development and data visualization.Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Generative AI, AI-powered analytics, or conversational analytics.Knowledge of CI/CD practices and cloud-based data platforms.Experience with financial and operational data.Familiarity with data governance and data quality practices.Relevant Microsoft, Power BI, or Snowflake certifications.
