Full job description

Roles and responsibilities:

Implementation and maintenance of the automation framework for the products owned

Establish processes and tool sets to maintain automation scripts and generate regular test reports.

Manual & Automation testing for sprint tasks assigned.

Ensure top notch quality through rigorous testing.

Test the product at multiple levels to improve user experience, predictability, performance, capacity,

and reduce defects, downtime, etc

Write good quality, modular, reusable, performant, well documented code for testing

Work directly with Developers, QA Engineers, Product Managers, Software Dev Managers and

Technical Program Managers to ensure quality of our platforms and new launches.

Actively improve the architecture and design of the regression suites and testing modules.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to SDETs and QA engineers.

Support in hiring of SDET-1s and QA engineers as an Interviewer.

Must Have:

BE or higher in Computer Science or related technical discipline (or equivalent)

Minimum 2 years of previous experience which must include manual testing as well.

Experience in object-oriented designing and object-oriented languages such as Java, NET, Objective C,

C++, Python, Ruby

Experience in Application/Web debugging.

Thorough understanding of log analysis in Unix

Experience on Selenium/Appium or RestAssured.

Strong object-oriented design skills, knowledge of design patterns, data structures and algorithms

Good expertise in working with relational and NoSQL databases.

Basic understanding of cloud computing platforms like AWS, GCloud, Azure etc.

Experience with load testing using tools like Jmeter, Locust, Gatling, etc is a plus

Experience in owning the functional and nonfunctional quality of large complex applications with only

high-level tech guidance

Good experience in working with Agile software methodologies (XP, Scrum)
