Bridgestone is seeking an experienced, proactive Scrum Master to support Agile delivery for

Data and MuleSoft integration teams. This role will enable teams to deliver high-quality

integration and data solutions with improved predictability, flow, and sustainable velocity.

The successful candidate will be more than a facilitator of Scrum ceremonies. They will actively

identify delivery risks, remove or escalate impediments, manage cross-team dependencies,

coach Agile ways of working, and help the team continuously improve its ability to deliver value.

Key Responsibilities

Scrum Leadership and Agile Coaching

Coach one or more cross-functional teams in Scrum and Agile principles,

practices, and behaviors.

Facilitate effective Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, Sprint

Review, and Retrospective sessions.

Help teams establish clear Sprint Goals, realistic commitments, and actionable

Definition of Ready and Definition of Done practices.

Foster a culture of transparency, ownership, collaboration, continuous learning,

and accountability.

Coach Product Owners and team members on effective backlog management,

prioritization, estimation, and stakeholder engagement.

Assess Agile maturity and introduce practical improvements tailored to the

team's needs.

Proactive Impediment and Dependency Management

Proactively identify blockers, delivery risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies

before they impact sprint commitments.

Own the process for documenting, tracking, escalating, and driving resolution of

impediments.

Partner with engineering leaders, platform teams, product owners, architects,

and external stakeholders to resolve issues related to environments, access,

integration dependencies, release readiness, and resource constraints.

Challenge inefficient ways of working and facilitate solutions that reduce

recurring blockers.

Support the team in managing dependencies across Data, MuleSoft,

application, infrastructure, security, QA, and DevOps teams.

Delivery Flow and Continuous Improvement

Use Agile delivery metrics to identify improvement opportunities and promote

sustainable team performance.

Monitor and help improve measures such as sprint-goal achievement, carryover

work, cycle time, throughput, blocker aging, defect trends, and delivery

predictability.

Facilitate retrospectives that result in clear improvement actions, with

ownership and follow-through.

Help teams reduce handoffs, waiting time, rework, and unnecessary process

overhead.

Support adoption of engineering practices that enable reliable delivery, including

automation, CI/CD, DevOps collaboration, and quality practices.

Stakeholder Alignment and Communication

Serve as an effective facilitator between delivery teams, Product Owners,

business stakeholders, architects, and leadership.

Communicate delivery status, risks, dependencies, decisions, and improvement

opportunities clearly and transparently.

Ensure stakeholders understand team capacity, priorities, dependencies, and

realistic delivery timelines.

Facilitate planning and alignment across multiple teams where integration

dependencies exist.

Data and MuleSoft Delivery Support

Develop sufficient understanding of Data and MuleSoft integration delivery to

anticipate common delivery constraints and support effective team planning.

Support teams delivering API-led integrations, data pipelines, data services, and

related platform capabilities.

Work with technical leads and architects to ensure technical dependencies,

environment readiness, test data, security reviews, and release activities are

visible and managed.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience working in Agile delivery environments, including 3+ years

as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or similar role.

Demonstrated experience proactively removing impediments and improving

team delivery flow.

Experience supporting software, data, API, integration, or platform engineering

teams.

Strong practical knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile delivery principles. Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching teams toward greater

autonomy and maturity.

Experience using Agile delivery tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO), Jira, or

equivalent.

Strong ability to manage cross-team dependencies, risks, and stakeholder

expectations.

Excellent facilitation, communication, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving

skills.

Ability to influence without direct authority and work effectively with technical

and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting MuleSoft, API integration, enterprise data, cloud, or

middleware delivery teams.

Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, release management, and

environment management practices.

Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), SAFe Scrum

Master, or equivalent certification.

Experience working in scaled Agile environments, including SAFe or multi-team

delivery models.

Familiarity with Agile flow metrics and evidence-based approaches to

continuous improvement.

The team consistently meets Sprint Goals and delivers commitments with

greater predictability.

Impediments and dependencies are identified early, visibly tracked, and

resolved quickly.

Carryover work, avoidable delays, and recurring blockers are reduced. Team members increasingly own their delivery process and continuousimprovement

actions.

Stakeholders have clear visibility into priorities, risks, dependencies, and

delivery progress.

The team improves sustainable velocity while maintaining quality and avoiding

burnout.
