WHAT YOU’LL DO​

As SAP Application Expert, you will play a key role in designing, building, and enhancing warehouse solutions for Warehouse outbound team. You will work across functional, configuration, testing, and development areas within SAP EWM, contributing to scalable and high-quality supply chain solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as a functional expert for SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), supporting end-to-end warehouse processes. Configure and support SAP EWM solutions for inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse operations. Support warehouse processes including receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, packing, staging, shipping, and physical inventory. Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and system solutions. Perform system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting within SAP EWM. Collaborate with developers on enhancements, integrations, RF developments, and custom EWM functionality. Support integration between SAP EWM and SAP ERP/S/4HANA as well as other connected supply chain systems. Participate in fit-gap analysis, solution design discussions, and process improvement initiatives. Execute functional testing, integration testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Investigate and resolve production incidents, defects, and application issues in a timely manner. Collaborate with business users and cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet operational requirements. Document solution designs, functional specifications, configuration settings, and support procedures. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy, and system stability. Provide day-to-day application support and ensure smooth operation of SAP EWM processes.​

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH​

Product Managers, Business Experts, and Software Engineers within the Warehouse Outbound (Store & Online) product team. Warehouse operations and supply chain stakeholders to understand business needs and support process improvements. SAP EWM functional and technical engineers to design, build, and maintain warehouse solutions. Cross-functional teams across the Warehouse Area to deliver integrated end-to-end solutions. Integration and platform teams to ensure seamless connectivity between SAP EWM and related systems. QA engineers, architects, and support teams to ensure solution quality, stability, and operational excellence.

WHO YOU ARE​

3-6 years of hands-on experience working with SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM). Strong understanding of warehouse execution processes, including outbound, internal warehouse operations, inventory management, and stock movements. Experience configuring and supporting SAP EWM solutions in complex warehouse environments. Good understanding of:SAP EWM master data, warehouse structures, and organizational elementsOutbound processes, replenishment, inventory management, and warehouse task executionIntegration points between SAP EWM and SAP ERP/S/4HANAAbility to analyze business requirements and translate them into effective system solutions. Experience working in Agile, cross-functional product teams. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with business and technical stakeholders. Comfortable working in large-scale, distributed environments with multiple teams and dependencies. Experience with testing, configuration, issue investigation, and application support. Familiarity with RF solutions, warehouse automation integrations, and end-to-end warehouse process flows is considered an advantage. Additional beneficial competences:

Experience with SAP S/4HANA EWM implementations, upgrades, or migration projects. Understanding of warehouse automation concepts and integrations with material handling equipment (MHE) and other warehouse technologies. Knowledge of integrations between SAP EWM, SAP ERP/S/4HANA, SAP TM, and external supply chain applications. Experience with RF framework, mobile warehouse transactions, and barcode-driven warehouse operations. Basic understanding of ABAP concepts, including debugging, BAdIs, and enhancement frameworks, to effectively collaborate with development teams. Familiarity with inventory management, warehouse execution, and process optimization in large-scale distribution environments. Exposure to warehouse automation technologies, RFID, and emerging warehouse innovations. Experience with SAP Fiori applications and modern user experience concepts. Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and agile software delivery methodologies. Knowledge of monitoring, incident management, and application support processes in an enterprise environment.
