Full job description

Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain high-quality cross-platform features using React Native for iOS and Android.

Own end-to-end delivery of key user journeys across the order lifecycle: browse, cart, checkout, payments, live order tracking, and post-order experience.

Optimize app performance, including startup time, rendering, memory usage, and bundle size, for a smooth experience across device tiers and network conditions.

Build resilient offline-first experiences with robust local caching and sync strategies for low-connectivity scenarios.

Integrate with backend and platform APIs for order management, payments, and real-time tracking, ensuring reliability under high concurrency.

Implement and maintain push notification flows for order updates, promotions, and re-engagement.

Collaborate closely with design to deliver pixel-accurate, accessible, and delightful UI across a wide range of devices.

Partner with backend and platform engineering teams to define contracts, troubleshoot integration issues, and improve end-to-end system reliability.

Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code and actively participate in code reviews.

Instrument and monitor app health using crash reporting, performance monitoring, and analytics tools; drive down crash rates and ANRs.

Contribute to the evolution of shared React Native infrastructure, tooling, and best practices across mobile squads.

Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical design discussions (senior level).

Requirements:

3-7 years of professional software engineering experience, with a significant portion building production React Native (or hybrid mobile) applications.

Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and the React Native ecosystem.

Proven experience shipping and maintaining apps on both iOS and Android via the App Store and Play Store.

Solid understanding of mobile app performance optimization, rendering, memory, startup time, and network efficiency.

Experience integrating with RESTful or GraphQL APIs, including handling authentication, retries, and error states gracefully.

Working knowledge of native mobile concepts (native modules/bridging, build systems, platform-specific behavior).

Experience with state management solutions (e. g., Redux, MobX, Recoil, or React Context/hooks-based patterns).

Familiarity with unit/integration testing frameworks for React Native (e. g., Jest, Detox, or equivalent).
