R&D Architect

Job Description

As an R&D Architect, you will shape the technical vision for next-generation telecom and network management platforms, leveraging your expertise in cloud-native architecture and data engineering. You’ll work with talented architects and engineers to design scalable, secure and reliable solutions that make a real impact.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

Architect and design cloud-native, cloud-agnostic telecom and network management platforms. Lead the creation of microservices, ensuring high availability, reliability, and security.Guide the development of databases and associated open-source software components.Mentor and guide a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and best practices.Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality implementationsStay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies, proposing innovative ideas for platform enhancements.Document and communicate architectural decisions and best practices to the team and stakeholders. Participate in on-call rotations and provide support during critical incidents.

Key Skills And Experience

Must have:

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent with proven 10+ years of experience as R&D Architect or similar role, with a good background in telecom and network management.Expertise in cloud-native architecture and engineering, with a focus on microservices, high availability, and reliability.Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, and Linux.In-depth knowledge of K8S, Docker, Helm and associated open-source software.

Nice to have:

Very good understanding of OOPS concepts and database management.Experience with observability tools and practices.
