Full job description

Responsibilities:

Perform end-to-end manual testing of mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms.

Prepare and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios following the STLC process.

Identify, document, track, and manage defects using Jira, ensuring timely resolution and closure.

Analyse application logs and troubleshoot issues to identify root causes and support effective defect resolution.

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, and Appium for web and mobile applications.

Build and maintain reusable automation scripts and troubleshoot automation failures to ensure reliable test execution.

Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, validating API responses, integrations, and application behaviour.

Contribute to API automation using frameworks such as Karate.

Participate in bug triaging, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and other Agile ceremonies.

Collaborate closely with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality deliverables.

Communicate defects, test results, and technical issues clearly to relevant stakeholders.

Proactively identify potential quality risks and contribute to improving testing processes and automation coverage.

Take ownership of assigned testing activities and work effectively in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Learn and adopt new testing tools and frameworks, including Maestro for mobile UI automation where applicable.
