Full job description

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for product software. Conduct manual and automated testing to ensure the functionality, performance, and security of product solutions. Perform UI testing, API testing, and backend testing across various platforms. Execute regression, functional, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) on software applications. Identify, document, and track defects and issues using defect-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA). Collaborate with developers and product managers to resolve quality-related issues. Execute performance and stress testing for telecom systems to ensure network stability under high loads. Work with Linux-based environments for deployment, troubleshooting, and test execution. Write and execute SQL queries for data validation and backend testing. Stay updated with the latest advancements in telecom testing tools, methodologies, and technologies.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, preferably in the telecom sector. Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC and QA principles. Knowledge with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium - TestNG, Robot Framework, Appium, JMeter). Knowledge in scripting languages such as Python or Shell for automation. Strong experience in UI testing, API testing, and backend testing. Hands-on experience with Linux environments and SQL for backend validation. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and using CI/CD pipelines. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
