Job Overview
The Project Manager has the full responsibility for all his / her projects regarding major milestones, deliverables on time and Project health.
Responsibilities
Task Summary:
Multi-project handling Close alignment with Technical Project Leaders.Manage project scope, schedule, and budget for projects within the assigned business segment.Clearly communicate roles, expectations and accountabilities to team members on a regular basis using cross functional KPI procedureDeploy use of system tools to ensure Project performance KPI’s, OI and TTM goals are metPlan & lead Stage Gate reviews to business unit Project Approval Committee.Manage project capital budgets and assure execution in alignment with business unit financial plan.Establish and maintain a Microsoft project baseline schedule with commitment from Core team and customer on all projects.Conduct weekly status meetings with internal Core Team and external customers.Monitor production part approval process and coordinate market introduction according to flawless launch principalsSet up and co-ordinate design reviews and continuous improvement activitiesFollow Change Management process and set up Risk Identification & Risk Mitigation plansTrack project lessons learned and manage best practicesConduct project closeout meetings and post launch reviews
What Your Background Should Look Like
Graduated in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering. Preferably a joint degree of engineering and business administration (industrial/ commercial engineer)
Min.1-2 years of experience working in project management (Automotive background preferred)
Special Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills
Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and meet scope, schedule, and budget requiredDemonstrated leadership of project teams within a regionally deployed matrix environmentGood to have knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes and assembly design principles requiredEager to learn tools for Microsoft Project, on-line collaboration tools and databasesCompetent presentation soft skills.Understanding of continuous improvement working and deployment principals involving problem solving.Good to have SAP KnowledgeExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English
