Job Description -

Program Manager for global biosimilar programs, accountable for integrated planning, cross-functional execution, governance, budget oversight, risk management and timely achievement of annual program objectives.

Primary Responsibilities -

Achieve business and program targets established at the beginning of each financial year.Prepare, publish and track integrated project plans using Microsoft Project and other approved PPM tools; monitor milestones, critical paths, dependencies, risks and actions.Lead weekly reviews with Biocon cross-functional teams and fortnightly reviews with the program leads to report progress and performance.Lead monthly cross-functional project team meetings to align stakeholders, resolve conflicts, establish priorities and identify matters requiring escalation to senior managementPrepare the annual program budget and track, forecast and manage expenditure monthly.Liaise with Procurement, Legal, Finance and the Program Head to establish and manage contracts for third-party service providers.Partner with cross-functional teams to remove process bottlenecks and redundancies, and collaborate with PMO peers to continuously improve project and program management practices.Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure actions, decisions and escalations are handled in accordance with program governance.

Skills And Education -

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse stakeholder groups.Strong articulation and presentation skills for governance forums.Ability to influence without authority, resolve conflicts and drive accountability.High ownership, learning agility and willingness to take on broader responsibilities.Collaborative team player capable of coordinating large, diverse teams and senior leadership stakeholders.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Engineering or a related discipline.7+ years of total experience, preferably in pharmaceuticals, biologics or life sciences.Minimum 3+ years of Program management experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Project and project management/PPM tools.PMP certification preferred.Prior exposure to R&D, MSAT or Regulatory Affairs is an advantage.
