The Basic Metering League manages a comprehensive portfolio of foundational power and energy metering solutions designed to meet the essential monitoring needs of commercial, industrial, data center and utility customers. Our meters provide reliable, accurate and cost‑effective electrical measurements, energy tracking and entry‑level power quality indicators to support efficient and resilient facility operations.

These solutions help customers make informed decisions regarding energy usage, system performance and operational continuity, while maintaining the simplicity and robustness expected in this market segment. They play a key role in applications such as energy cost allocation, sub‑metering, electrical panel monitoring, feeder management, equipment protection and compliance with emerging energy‑management standards.

Your role

We are recruiting a Product Owner for the Vigilohm offer. Vigilohm is a well-established range of insulation monitoring devices for IT earthing networks sold throughout the world. It is present in any application where safety and power continuity are prerequisite, and usually with high-profile/VIP customers.

The Product Owner is responsible for the full lifecycle of the offer(s) managed by the squads—defining desirable, viable, feasible and sustainable value propositions, supporting development from concept to release, engaging customers, setting strategy and pricing, and ensuring alignment with business priorities. In a multi‑squad offer setup, the OMO holds global responsibility for value definition, customer involvement, roadmap coherence and business outcomes.

Your Missions

Define product/system strategy, vision and roadmaps

Align product strategy, vision and roadmap with the Line of Business/Hub portfolio strategy and business guardrails.Define and govern lean epic business cases.Create and communicate a compelling offer vision.Manage flexible and adaptive roadmaps.Resolve offer‑level issues (while Product Owners manage squad‑level issues).Define, create and maintain global reference tariff levels, applying value‑based pricing principles and ensuring portfolio rationalization.

Connect with Customers

Engage directly with customers throughout the offer lifecycle.Continuously involve customers through exploration activities, system demos and feedback loops.Customer‑centric mindset: design thinking, customer empathy, user‑led decisions.Ensure consistent delivery of value to customers.

Manage and Prioritize the Offer‑Level Backlog

Guide feature creation in collaboration with squads.Prioritize features and ensure understanding of prioritization criteria.Accept features on behalf of the customer, evaluating completeness against acceptance criteria.Define and communicate the customer‑centric “definition of done.”Support necessary architecture and enablers across the whole lifecycle.Participate in key Agile rituals (PI Planning, Inspect & Adapt, Demos, PI Objective approval, Business Value assessment).Ensure comprehensive development and availability of Offer Data Assets (ODA) for each product line.

Explore Markets, Competition and Users

Conduct market research to size the Product Available Market (PAM).Apply market segmentation frameworks.Understand end‑user needs and pain points.Perform competitive analysis and prepare battle cards.Build SWOT analyses based on market trends and evolution.

Deliver Value

Ensure the offer remains economically viable and aligned with business guardrails.Build, analyze and support business cases in collaboration with zones.Enable operations, including launch support and readiness.Collaborate with Digital Marketing for data analytics, content creation and e‑commerce acceleration.Work cross‑functionally with GSC, commercial teams, country marketing, solutions teams, companion program and other internal stakeholders.

Your Profile

7–10+ years experience in offer management/product marketing/product management in Energy Management, Industrial AutomationStrong agility and ability to manage multiple topics simultaneously.Excellent communication skills and ease in collaborating with diverse stakeholders.Willingness to learn and deeply master the product technology.Comfort in dealing with uncertainty and navigating multiple possible scenarios.Market‑oriented mindset with a genuine interest in interacting directly with customers.Data‑driven decision‑making approach.Solid experience across full idea‑to‑market cycles.Travel: 10-20% of the timeLocation: Bangalore, India OR Grenoble, France
