The RoleWe are looking for a Product / Category Manager to join our Product Management team in Bangalore. This role will be responsible for driving the strategy, growth, profitability, and innovation of RAK Ceramics’ Sanitaryware, Bathware & Faucets portfolio in India.The role will own the category P&L and portfolio strategy while leading product development from opportunity identification through launch and post-launch performance. The position will also drive route-to-retail, go-to-market execution, dealer enablement, retail activation, premiumisation, and innovation in partnership with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, and global innovation teams.

What You Will Be DoingOwn the category P&L, strategy, marketing, and profitability for the Sanitaryware, Bathware & Faucets portfolioDevelop and execute the annual category growth plan covering new product launches, portfolio expansion, and margin improvementDefine portfolio architecture by identifying segments to enter, expand, rationalise, or reposition based on market insights, consumer needs, dealer feedback, and market visitsLead the end-to-end product development process, from opportunity identification and business case development through product development, launch, and post-launch performanceManage product cost targets from concept development through mass productionOwn the route-to-retail process, covering quotation, order management, planning, dispatch, and site installationDrive retail-led category growth beyond the traditional project channelLead go-to-market execution including product positioning, launch narrative, channel readiness, dealer education, and retail merchandisingDrive premiumisation of the portfolio through hardware, finishes, technology, and higher-value product tiersBuild and maintain a strong innovation and product pipeline in collaboration with global innovation and local engineering teamsTranslate emerging technologies and market opportunities into differentiated, commercially viable productsDrive digital enablement initiatives such as specification self-service and configurator tools for dealers and customersBuild and lead a cross-functional team across product management and route-to-marketAct as the custodian of product quality, brand positioning, portfolio architecture, and assortment

Our Ideal MatchGraduate / B.Tech, with an MBA / PGDM in Marketing or General Management from a recognised institute8+ years of experience in Product Management / Category Management with P&L and portfolio accountabilityProven experience across product development and route-to-market / supply chainExperience in go-to-market, dealer enablement, and retail activationIndustry experience in Sanitaryware, Bathware, Faucets, Tiles, Building Materials, or relevant industries will be valuableAdvanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPointExposure to ERP/SAP and PLM toolsExperience with CAD tools and DFMA/DFMEA will be an advantageStrong command of English and Hindi; knowledge of regional languages will be an advantage
