Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced software professional with 10+ years of hands-on experience in designing, building, and scaling complex software systems. This role combines deep engineering expertise with modern AI capabilities, including the design and development of intelligent agents and automation systems. You will play a key role in architecting robust platforms, guiding engineering decisions, and building next-generation AI-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

Design and architect scalable, reliable, and high-performance software systems and platformsLead end-to-end development of complex applications, from concept to deploymentDefine system architecture, design patterns, and best practices across teamsWrite clean, maintainable, and efficient code across multiple layers (backend, APIs, distributed systems)Evaluate and integrate modern technologies, including AI/ML frameworks and agent-based systemsDesign and develop AI agents for automation, decision-making, and workflow orchestrationCollaborate with cross-functional teams (product, data, DevOps) to deliver impactful solutionsMentor and guide junior and mid-level engineersConduct code reviews and ensure high engineering standardsDrive performance optimisation, scalability, and security improvements

Minimum Qualifications

10+ years of professional software development experienceStrong expertise in system design, distributed systems, and scalable architecturesProficiency in one or more languages such as Python, Java, Go, or C++Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Solid understanding of APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectureHands-on experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL)Strong problem-solving and debugging skillsExperience or strong interest in building AI-powered systemsStrong ownership and accountabilityAbility to think in systems and long-term architectureCuriosity and adaptability toward emerging technologies (especially AI)Clear communicator who can bridge technical and business discussionsFamiliarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, etc.)Ability to design autonomous or semi-autonomous agents that interact with tools, APIs, and workflowsUnderstanding of vector databases, embeddings, and retrieval systems (RAG)Experience integrating AI into production systems

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in platform engineering or building developer toolsKnowledge of MLOps, model deployment, and monitoringExposure to Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelinesPrior experience in technical leadership or architect rolesExperience building multi-agent systemsContributions to open-source projectsExperience with real-time systems or high-throughput platforms
