Full job description

ABOUT LEADSQUARED

LeadSquared is one of the fastest-growing SaaS companies in the CRM space — trusted by 2,000+ customers and 2.5 lakh+ users globally. We help organizations automate sales and marketing to run high-velocity revenue operations at scale. With a strong presence across the US, Middle East, ASEAN, ANZ, and South Africa, LeadSquared is expanding its US vertical teams to drive growth in Education and Healthcare — two of our strongest market segments.

ABOUT THE ROLE

LeadSquared is expanding its US Education vertical and is looking for a senior PreSales Consultant with deep expertise in the Education sector to drive enterprise deal pursuits across Higher Education institutions, K-12 districts, EdTech platforms, and Workforce Training organizations. You will serve as the technical and solutions authority in the sales process — owning discovery, demo design, RFP responses, and proof-of-concept development — while acting as a trusted advisor to prospects and a strategic partner to the US Sales team.

🎓 This is not a generic SE role. We need someone who speaks Education — who understands enrollment funnels, student lifecycle management, and how institutions buy technology.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Solution Design & Demonstrations

• Lead tailored product demonstrations of LeadSquared’s CRM and Student Lifecycle Management platform for Higher Education, K-12, and EdTech prospects.

• Design and deliver discovery-led demos that address specific institutional pain points — enrollment management, student engagement, retention, and alumni relations.

• Develop and present end-to-end solution blueprints aligned to each prospect’s administrative, enrollment, and technology workflows.

• Build and deliver proof-of-concepts (POCs) for complex or competitive enterprise evaluations.

• Showcase integration capabilities with SIS platforms (Banner, Ellucian, PowerSchool), LMS tools, and other education ecosystem technologies.

RFP Leadership & Proposal Excellence

• Own RFI/RFP responses for US Education prospects, including functional requirements, solution architecture, and integration approach.

• Create compelling solution documents, executive summaries, and business case narratives tailored to CIO, VP Enrollment, and Provost-level audiences.

• Develop effort estimation, implementation roadmap, and TCO analysis for enterprise Education deployments.

• Maintain and improve a library of standard RFP responses, demo scripts, and proposal templates for the US Education team.

Education Domain Authority

• Serve as LeadSquared’s internal subject-matter expert on US Education: enrollment management, student success, financial aid workflows, and alumni engagement.

• Maintain competitive intelligence across EdTech CRM platforms (Salesforce Education Cloud, Slate, Ellucian CRM, Element451) and develop battle cards.

• Stay current on FERPA compliance, Title IV regulations, and accreditation-related technology requirements.

• Represent LeadSquared at US Education conferences, events, and industry forums to build brand presence and generate pipeline.

Stakeholder Engagement & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Engage VP Enrollment Management, CIOs, Registrars, Student Success Directors, and Provosts as a trusted advisor, not just a vendor.

• Partner with the US Sales team, Marketing, and Customer Success to build winning deal strategies and seamless customer handoffs.

• Provide structured feedback to Product and Engineering on US Education market requirements and competitive gaps.

• Mentor and support junior PreSales resources as the Education vertical scales.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Experience & Education

• 7-12 years of experience in PreSales, Solution Engineering, or Sales Consulting, with significant tenure supporting US Education accounts.

• Deep understanding of US Higher Education and/or K-12 institutional buying processes, IT governance, and technology procurement.

• Prior hands-on experience with EdTech CRM, SIS, or Student Lifecycle Management platforms is strongly preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or prior experience working inside a US educational institution is a strong plus.

• Excellent English communication skills — written, verbal, and presentation — with proven ability to engage C-suite and VP-level academic leaders.

Technical & Domain Skills

• Strong understanding of enrollment management, student lifecycle, financial aid, and alumni engagement workflows.

• Familiarity with US Education technology ecosystem: SIS platforms (Banner, Ellucian, PowerSchool, Infinite Campus), LMS (Canvas, Blackboard, D2L), and communication tools.

• Knowledge of FERPA, data privacy standards, and compliance requirements for US Education technology.

• Proficiency in solution architecture, integration design, and API-based connectivity for enterprise Education environments.

• Experience with competitive platforms: Salesforce Education Cloud, Slate, Element451, Ellucian CRM, or similar.

Good to Have

• Experience presenting at EDUCAUSE, NACAC, or similar US Education conferences.

• Familiarity with Title IV, accreditation body requirements, and financial aid system integrations.

• Experience with data analytics and reporting for student outcome tracking.
