Introduction
The person in this role will be responsible for the design, implementation, optimization and support of enhancements and deficiency corrections, and will contribute to continuous technical improvement activities and roadmap of functionality and features. You will be responsible for designing and developing sophisticated, high-quality data integration and business intelligence solutions that address the analysis needs of engineers up to executive management in a modern semiconductor company.
Being part of a dynamic and experienced team, you will further develop your skills in data warehouse concepts as well as business analysis for such solutions. Strong communication skills and a process-oriented mindset are required.
Essential Responsibilities
Develop business intelligence reports for manufacturing and business teamsDevelop high-performance, data-driven systems in a distributed infrastructureLeverage massive data sets for modeling, recommendations, and insight generationMine large data sets to help engineers and business users gather insights and make data-driven decisionsDevelop data models for efficient query and BI tool performanceWork directly with project stakeholders and collect business requirementsWork on cross functional global teams to execute on large scale global BI projectsMaintain and support existing BI infrastructure in a highly complex and fast paced environment
Required Qualifications
Education/Experience – Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or equivalent plus minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience, MS plus minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience, or PhD plus 0-1 years of relevant experience.Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)Strong experience in SQL and/or PL/SQLStrong understanding of data warehouse concepts such as star schema and normalizationMinimum of 3 years experience in Power BISkilled in using office software suites (eg. Excel, Power Point, M365, etc.)Ability to work independently and as part of a teamEffectively communicate with stakeholders and team members
Preferred Qualifications
Desire to bring data-driven decision-making and analytics to improve our productsMS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or equivalentExperience with other analytical tools supporting data analysis such as QlikView or QlikSenseExpert in SQLStrong experience in database design & development including use of PL/SQL, stored procedures, custom functions, and query optimizationProficiency in designing data models in a DBMS environmentProficiency in creating database objects such as tables, views, materialized views, custom functions, and stored proceduresExperience using cloud native database technologies (eg. Snowflake, Athena, Redshift, etc.)Experience leading and managing small to medium sized projects
