We are Hiring Post-Silicon Validation Engineers! We are seeking highly motivated engineers to join the Post-Silicon Customer Engineering & Debug team for Oryon Custom CPU-based products across flagship mobile, compute, automotive, and Data center platforms. This role sits at the intersection of silicon, software, and customer engagement, driving root-cause analysis and resolution of complex customer-reported issues.
Are you passionate about CPU architecture and solving some of the toughest silicon challenges? We’re growing the Oryon CPU Customer Engineering Post-Silicon team and are looking for engineer who thrive on deep technical debugging and validation.
What You’ll Work On
Own end-to-end debug and resolution of customer issues involving CPU crashes, hangs, watchdog resets, performance issues, power abnormalities, boot failures, and silicon marginalities Root-causing complex functional and microarchitectural issues using silicon traces, scan dumps, ETM/PTM, and debug infrastructure Cross-functional collaboration with CPU Architecture, RTL, Design Verification, Physical Design, DFT, Firmware, and SoC teams to drive issues to closure Troubleshoot complex hardware, firmware, and electrical issues (like signal integrity, boot failures, or interface bugs) * Enabling world-class quality for next-generation flagship mobile processors
We’re looking for engineers with 7-10 years of relevant experience in:
✔ CPU microarchitecture and ARM architecture fundamentals
✔ Post-silicon validation, debug, or silicon bring-up
✔ Understanding of SoC architecture, interconnects, memory subsystems, and multi-core CPU systems
✔ Pipeline, cache, memory subsystem, coherency, and exception/debug flows
✔ Assembly, C/C++, Python, and automation
✔ Strong analytical thinking and systematic root-cause debugging
