ROLE OBJECTIVE

Project Manager Engineer is responsible for driving Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) activities for Energy BU. The role represents the business in global PLM forums, leads projects related to PLM, data management, and environmental compliance, and works closely with cross‑functional teams to define initiatives, gather requirements, and ensure successful delivery.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement PLM and data management processes, tools, methods, and standards.Lead and coordinate medium‑complexity projects related to PLM, environmental compliance, and data management.Prepare process documentation and deliver training to support PLM initiatives.Represent the Business Unit in Digital Part Management and Digital Marketing discussions.Act as engineering release and change management process owner for the BU.Drive engineering systems and application rollouts, manage risks, and negotiate trade‑offs to meet project goals.Foster a culture of continuous improvement in PLM and PEC initiativesExcellent leadership ability to manage cross functional project execution.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s Degree or above in Engineering or equivalent programFormal project management education/PMP certification.Continuous improvement/ Kaizen facilitator experience. Green belt is a plus.7+ years’ of experience in Product Life cycle management and Project management5 years’ experience working in/with engineeringSolid understanding of Engineering tools, Engineering Change Management, Bill of MaterialsKnowledge of Creo and PDM-LinkData Analysis, Data mining and reporting experienceExcellent in English (verbal/written)Excellent communication, presentation skillsExcellent in MS office, excel, PowerPointCritical thinking, problem solvingExperience leading global teams, including matrix assignmentFlexible, result oriented, goal driven, team player

Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field or local equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible professional level experience
