About The Role
We are looking for a Platform Architect to join our team and work closely with engineering, infrastructure, and security teams to implement, optimize, and maintain our cloud-based platforms—especially in the data and analytics space. You will be responsible for deploying, debugging, and supporting cloud systems, automating infrastructure, and ensuring secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy modular cloud-based systems with a focus on data and analytics workloads.Implement and maintain cloud solutions following industry best practices and company policies.Ensure efficient operation of data storage and compute resources, aligned with cloud security standards.Identify and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and deployment issues.Continuously review and improve existing systems and infrastructure.Collaborate with internal teams and clients to provide cloud support and recommend solutions.Automate infrastructure deployment using tools like Terraform, Terragrunt, and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).Work with DevOps and ITIL practices to streamline operations and deployments.Support secure and cost-optimized cloud implementations in collaboration with Enterprise Architecture and Cybersecurity teams.Document cloud infrastructure strategies, standards, and best practices.Provide technical guidance to development teams on cloud-native engineering.Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available platform infrastructure.Develop and improve cloud-native platforms, automation frameworks, and deployment pipelines.Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.Monitor platform performance, reliability, and security, and proactively resolve issues.Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to optimize application delivery.Establish platform standards, best practices, and operational procedures. Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance on platform architecture and operations.
Skills & Experience
Experience with source control tools such as Git, GitHub, Bitbucket.Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java), RDBMS (Oracle/MySQL), and message queues.Strong understanding of cloud concepts and hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.Minimum 3–5 years of experience in cloud engineering and infrastructure deployment.Solid knowledge of cloud infrastructure, including security, cost optimization, and automation.Familiarity with IT infrastructure domains: compute, storage, networking, and service delivery.Experience with compliance and security standards in enterprise environments.Hands-on experience with DevOps tools: Ansible, Docker, GitHub, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Maven, SonarQube.Mandatory experience with the following cloud services:Google Cloud: BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Dataflow, Cloud SQL, Firestore, Cloud Composer, Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Run, Data Catalog, Pub/Sub, Vertex AIAWS: Redshift, S3 Buckets, Lambda FunctionsAzure: Blob Storage, SQL DatabaseOther Tools: Terraform, Terragrunt, dbt, Datadog
