What you’ll do:
This position provides financial leadership to the Bangalore, India facility, serving as a business partner and as a change agent to drive plant continuous improvement actions and to achieve overall plant targets. This role connects finance processes with operations, providing guidance, driving actions, and providing financial insights to ensure operational strategies and decisions will lead to the expected results.
Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data and performance metrics related to the operations to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Drive accountability for results and defining key performance metrics together with business leaders
Decision Support: Provide financial insights and analysis to support operational decision-making, such as evaluating capital deployment opportunities or new projects.
Driving initiatives (including CAPEX and WORKING CAPITAL) and influence changes: ensure productivity improvements and growth in areas such as operational excellence, continuous improvement, quality and supply chain management
Collaborative Planning: Work closely with Plant Leadership and the operations team to develop action plans, strategies, and initiatives based on financial insights. Drive and monitor the implementation of the plans
Financial Modeling: Create financial models to assess the impact of various scenarios on operational performance.
Risk Management: Identify financial risks within the operations and propose mitigation strategies.
Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to evaluate performance against targets.
Cost Management: Monitor and manage operational costs to achieve efficiency and cost-reduction while maintaining quality
Talent Management: Builds organizational capability through successful hiring, talent development, and succession planning in the business
Forecasting: Lead the main financial processes for the periodic site forecasts and profit plan
Growth Champion: Active leader in supporting the rapid growth of the Bangalore facility through the transition of product between Eaton sites
Functional Champion: Support the finance culture change at the plant level, aiding the finance team to operate as business partners.
Compliance: Establish, monitor and maintain a system of internal controls that safeguards company assets and provides for integrity and propriety of financial transactions and activities. Compliance with corporate policy, SOX, GAAP (both US and India), as well as local requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Finance or Accounting
ICWA / CA / MBA preferred
At least 12 years in Finance function
3-5 Years of Manufacturing / Cost Accounting Experience in a manufacturing faclity.
Skills:
Strong financial acumen and business partnering skills
Sound working knowledge of GAAP (US and India), Sarbanes Oxley and local statutory requirements.
Ability to understand and communicate financial concepts to non-financial professionals
Detail-oriented with effective organization and time management skills
Highly motivated, highly analytical and self-starter
Excellent Communication skills; Profecient in English.
